Gold, Diamonds and Gemstones: the most beautiful and naturally occurring pieces have arrived and we want to tell you all about their origins.

Our natural gemstones come from the earth and are formed over millions and billions of years. These stones carry the energy of the world because they are formed in volcanic environments, solid rock and/or water. The process takes millions of years and the outcome is a natural gemstone formation, altered only by the elements and changes induced by nature. The stones are near flawless; have exceptional color and clarity, and cut precisely to a brilliant round gemstone. These little gems are then handpicked to ensure the finest stones are included in the daYana Jewelry collections, all of which are AAA. The color of our stones is a rich, vibrant, and well-saturated hue. When looking at these little gems, they are free of inclusions to the visible eye. Which ones make the cut? Only the most brilliant colorful rounds, that sparkle. This is only about the top 10%. Extremely rare & highly coveted.

Some more details about the precious and semi-precious stones used shown below. All choices made by daYana Jewelry hinge on authenticity, and the pursuit of rare, natural, and pure gems to give you, our customer, a genuine piece of fine jewelry.

Diamonds You Can Trace

Diamonds form the base version of our kis collection, and they also appear across the collection as a signature of quiet brilliance. daYana diamonds originate from Canada, in either the Ekati or Daivik mines in Northern Canada. They are sourced through Snow Owl Diamonds and certified in batches. Each batch of small diamonds carries a certificate number for traceability. This number becomes part of your certificate so you can trace exactly what you are buying and from where.

daYana Jewelry only uses grades of diamonds GVSI or higher, in the of GIA for determining the GVSI rating, but are non-certified 1.3, 1.7 and 2.0 mm diamonds. Each having a carat weight of 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03

  • Very Very Slightly Included (VVS1 and VVS2) – Inclusions so slight they are difficult for a skilled grader.
  • Very Slightly Included (VS1 and VS2) – Inclusions are observed with effort but can be characterized as minor.

We chose this route for clarity and accountability. You should know what you are wearing and you should feel confident gifting it.

daYana jewelry pieces are made in either 10K gold or 18K gold. These are easy to distinguish not only with the mark of gold, but also by the number of stones. Each Heirloom piece is 18K gold, and holds 7 gemstones of your choice, with 7 diamonds on the backside. Each South Beach Piece is 10K gold, and holds 5 gemstones.

All of our pieces are built to be worn, not stored. The goal is durability you can feel, clean edges, secure settings and a finish that looks refined in daylight and evening light.

Every detail is designed for real life, including pieces that are meant to evolve as you add stones and mark new chapters. These pieces can be reconfigured or added to as time goes on.
